I am Boey, a Chinese woman living abroad,,drifting between art and reality,One day, through a single qipao,I rediscovered my connection to the world.

The qipao amazed me —it embraces both the curve and the truth.It does not flatter; it understands.I chose it as a beginning,to explore a freer relationship between women,their bodies, time, and identity.

The name Bownd comes from my name, Boey.
It once carried a shared journey.Now, it returns to its original meaning — Bond, connection.Connecting tradition and modernity,
East and West,
craft and life,
